Congenital Reproductive/Sexual Differences
As part of the team at the Specialist Centre for Women with developmental differences at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, I have experience of working within a multidisciplinary service to help with the physical and emotional difficulties arising from these conditions.

Adolescent Gynaecology
At the at the specialist centre, I am involved with the care of many teenage and adolescent women. Because of this experience, I welcome any young women who wish to discuss period problems, contraception, sexual health issues etc, particularly if they would feel more comfortable talking and/or being examined by a female doctor. Patients under the age of 16 can only be seen on the NHS.

Sexual Difficulties
I have experience with helping women who have physical difficulties with intercourse which may arise from childbirth or other traumatic causes, infections, congenital abnormalities, failed consummation or other causes. It is essential in the first instance to establish if there is a physical cause for difficulties, treat these appropriately if necessary and then I work closely with a clinical nurse specialist to help achieve satisfactory sexual intercourse. However, I do not undertake psychosexual counselling.
